Equipping Educators for Endurance
—
We want to change the statistics! The average Special Education teacher and paraprofessional leaves the education field in 5 years or less. We believe that with meaningful education, regular inspiration, and support from a knowledgeable team that we can help educators stay in the field longer!
When passionate and equipped educators remain in the field – everyone benefits! At LEAD we are passionate about equipping our team so that they can have a career with a legacy of success that’s marked by endurance.
By offering live classes, video-based instruction, and group book studies we have created an environment that motivates our staff to enjoy the process of learning, even as an educator! Our staff have access to relevant and meaningful instruction in areas that enhance their teaching and leadership in the classroom.
Each quarter we curate course offerings for our staff in the areas of Academics, Behavior, Self-Care, and Leadership. We offer up to 20 hours a quarter of learning opportunities in these areas. Our staff often eagerly complete more than the minimum requirement!
1% CAN CHANGE THE 99%
There are approximately 360 working hours in a quarter of the school year.
By dedicating 4 hours each quarter, which is just 1% of that time, to learning something new we believe that you can influence and change the other 356 hours!
