The Right Conditions for Growth
We accept students who are prepared to thrive in our therapeutic environment. Your student should meet the following criteria:
- Have a current IEP with private day placement as the least restrictive placement option.
- Be in grades K-12 or eligible for services through age 21.
- Students in grades 6-12 should be toilet-trained and independent in the bathroom.
- Students in grades K-5 can have a history of aggression or property destruction, but must exhibit a clear, measurable decrease in these behaviors once enrolled at LEAD for continued placement.
- As we are not a locked facility, students with a history of elopement will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Parents/guardians must be supportive of the school placement and actively engage in meetings to support our combined efforts.
